What To Expect
During the Worship Gathering, bring your kids (6 wks through 5th grade) for age-appropriate worship, lessons & activities. An eKids volunteer will help you check in your child and lead you to their classroom.
What is eKids?
eKids is our weekly children’s ministry for children six weeks old through fifth grade. Every weekend we have the privilege of loving, caring for, and teaching eLife children. We are passionate about teaching children biblical truths and helping parents establish a foundation for a life of discipleship. We want the next generation to experience all God has for them in this life!
What is the Curriculum?
Each weekend we offer fun, engaging lessons for our children, preschool thru 5th grade, using one of the best curriculums in the country.
In Preschool, we use a curriculum called “First Look.” This curriculum provides an opening activity, video-based Bible story and closing application activities. As a preschooler, your child will take a “First Look” at three basic truths: God Made Me, God Loves Me and Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
In our Elementary classrooms, we worship together and study the Bible using the Discovery Bible Study method. Our students read a Bible Story together then break into groups to retell the passage. They retell the story by acting it out, drawing it, sculpting it or building it. Each group shares their retelling, and then they spend time praying and asking God how they can obey that passage of scripture. As a group, they form a challenge for the week and return the next week to share how they obeyed what God told them to do. It is our prayer that all of our elementary age kids will be able to share the gospel and the Bible stories we learn each week with friends and family who don’t know Jesus.
KidFaith is a two part class for kids in the 3rd-5th grade and their parents. This class focuses on learning what it means to commit your life to Christ, get baptized, and grow in your relationship with Jesus. This class is also a requirement for kids wanting to get baptized. If you and your child are interested in attending KidFaith, fill out the KidFaith Signup Form.
We believe that changed lives change lives and we couldn’t do all we do without volunteers! If you’re interested in volunteering, fill out this form, and we’ll contact you.
