Family Promise of Lubbock
We try to create an atmosphere where families celebrate holidays like any other family. So parties on holidays, including the summer holidays are nice occasions for the families. If a child has a birthday while in our program, we will have a birthday party for the child complete with cake and presents. A group to host birthday parties would be very welcomed. And fun too!

Lubbock Dream Center
We have a Thanksgiving Outreach project where we give turkeys and a box that contains everything in it for a Thanksgiving meal. Volunteers pick these up from the Lubbock Dream Center and then deliver them directly to the homes. Volunteers pray over the families as they give them everything they will need to cook a Thanksgiving meal.
Our Christmas Outreach will be creating family bags that will have items to encourage family time inside. Volunteers will deliver these family gifts to Chatman Hill, a very low income neighborhood just east of the interstate.

We work with the LISD migrant coordinator to provide a Christmas blessing to the students and their families, during the month of December. We provide a meal and gifts for each family member. Each family has their picture taken with Mr. & Mrs Santa Claus and is given to them after they return to school in January.
