Our Story

We exist to help people experience all God has for them in this life.

Our Vision

Our vision is our name. We exist to help people experience all that God has for them in this life.

How It All Began

The story of our church can be told as a series of answers to corporate prayer. We produced a documentary of the first 5 years of our church for our 5-year anniversary celebration in September of 2012. We’ve broken it out into individual chapters below.

Jesus, I pray you'd show me what to do with my life
Jesus, we pray for 10,000 in 10 years
Jesus, we pray someone would show up
Jesus, we pray for a worship leader

Jesus, we pray for the Jewish guy to get saved
Jesus, we pray they'd bring our stuff back
Jesus, we pray for more room
Jesus, we pray for 500 to get saved on Easter
Jesus, we pray for hundreds to get baptized on the spot
Jesus, we pray for 10 campuses in 10 years
Jesus, thank you for answering our prayers

Vision

Our vision is our name. We exist to help people experience all that God has for them in this life.

Experience Jesus

  • We envision a church which hosts an energetic and exciting worship gathering each week with strong biblical teaching.
  • We envision a church which leads thousands of people in West Texas to Jesus Christ.
  • We envision a church which hosts a city-wide prayer gathering in Jones football stadium in 10 years.

Experience Community

  • We envision a church which focuses on building community by bringing friends and neighbors together for spiritual discussion through the multiplication of Life Transformation Groups.
  • We envision a church which starts 1,000 LTGs to connect with over 10,000 people.

Experience Service

  • We envision a church which values prayer and devotes an evening each week to intercession.
  • We envision a church which intentionally disciples members to become LTG leaders in their own neighborhood.
  • We envision a church which serves the community by meeting “felt needs” in Jesus’ name.
  • We envision a church which hosts a missions training center to raise up missionaries and send them to the ends of the earth.
  • We envision a church which utilizes Lubbock’s reputation as the “Hub City” to become a hub for a church planting movement which starts churches in other parts of Lubbock, the state of Texas, the US, and around the world. We envision planting at least one church per year from our inception.

This dream was shared at our Grand Opening on 9/9/07. You can watch the video under the Media section of our website.
